Rigel’s Concentrated Large Cap Growth strategy is managed in line with the broader Large Cap Growth strategy. Of the 50 to 60 securities held in the Large Cap Growth portfolio 20 to 25 names are chosen for the concentrated portfolio based on the investment team’s level of conviction. The Large Cap Growth strategy utilizes an active, bottom-up approach to identify US stocks with market capitalizations greater than $5 billion. We invest in a diverse portfolio of quality companies with strong growth characteristics, carefully weighing the potential of each stock to contribute to the portfolio immediately. Stocks that are not contributing alpha are reviewed on a daily basis, and are likely trimmed or liquidated.
